Lorna was always wonderfully clear what she wanted to do and be. When I was born she was already three and plowing on ahead.
Mum and Dad had their hands full with her, and she was often "bad" - did things they didn´t want her to do - making life for mum a bit of a challenge at times as she was alone at home with us all.
One day Dad came home from work and asked Mum if Lorna had been "good" today and she replied she had been really very good!
So Dad said to Lorna "I´ve heard you were very good today".
To which she replied "Yes I know, but tomorrow I´m going to be horrid".
And she probably was.
How great to have an older sister like that! I loved her. Still do..
